*Eucharistic Visitors – Eucharistic visitors are trained church members who visit with and take Holy Communion to individuals who are unable to attend worship due to illness or other circumstances.
*Wayside Food Pantry – Christ Church, in partnership with neighboring churches, operates a food pantry that provides groceries for residents of Charles County who are in need of food assistance.
*Summer Camp Scholarships – Each year, the members of Christ Church provide scholarships for students at the Bishop Walker School in Washington, D.C., to participate in a Christian summer camp program sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of Washington.
*Health Partners – Christ Church financially supports Health Partners, a not-for-profit medical practice located Waldorf, Md, that provides free medical and dental care for economically disadvantaged individuals and families.
*Episcopal Relief & Development – Throughout the year, we support the work of Episcopal Relief and Development as they assist individuals and families affected by natural disasters.
*School Student Assistance – Throughout the school year, the members of Christ Church assist economically disadvantaged students and their families at the neighboring elementary and middle schools with school supplies, warm clothes, and Thanksgiving/Christmas meal baskets.
*Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem – Christ Church provides financial assistance to the ministries of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem. These ministries include schools, clinics, and hospitals open to all in need (regardless of religious affiliation) throughout the Middle East.
